BBC Great War documentary from 1964 on You Tube

It's excellent! The BBC produced it to mark the 50th anniversary of the start of the war. (I was 13 in 1964 and I remember the anniversary well.) There are 26 episodes, about 38 minutes or so each. What's interesting, compared to the documentaries for the 100th anniversary, is that in 1964 many veterans were still alive and they are interviewed!

Search for The Great War BBC enhanced. The enhanced version is wide screen. If you leave out enhanced you'll also find the smaller legacy TV screen aspect version.

There's also a CBS documentary from 1964 narrated by Robert Ryan. It's 26, 30 minute videos.
