Modern Campaigns Updates
Updates for the entire Modern Campaigns series of games have been released. This round features the "gold" treatment by David Freer and team with a complete overhaul of graphics, sounds and additional content. Visit the Updates page to download them all.

Modern Campaigns
Danube Front '85' 2.01 - 27 Dec 2019 (Changes)
Fulda Gap '85 2.01 - 27 Dec 2019 (Changes). NOTE: Because of a file permissions issue, delete FuldaGap85.exe from your game folder before applying this update.
Korea '85 2.01 - 27 Dec 2019 (Changes).
Middle East '67 2.01 - 27 Dec 2019 (Changes).
North German Plain '85 2.01 - 27 Dec 2019 (Changes).

Kewl. I have been waiting for Modern Campaigns reworked. The Gold Upgrades are awesome. Will buy Danube Front as a starter.

Dran Drauf Drüber Kameraden.
(aka Bundeswehr Fanboy).

It would be nice of the Tiller team reworked the large 3d graphics to the standards of the ACW and Early American Wars titles.

The problem with the 3D is that it is on a much smaller scale than the more tactical titles. From memory we have less than 30 x 30 pixels to work with and that just isn't enough to do anything more than rudimentary.

David

I have just posted the latest WDS blog post here covering the Modern Campaigns updates here;

https://www.wargamedesignstudio.com/2019/12/28/modern-campaigns-gold-updates-released/

Lots of info there including screenshots and example of unit images like these for the Middle East title;

The Korea '85 title;

Or the Warsaw Pact titles;

More info and in game screenshots on the above link or our earlier post here;

Thanks,

David

Good stuff!
