This is calculated based on time of year and latitude as well as other factors. You can see whether it is DAY NIGHT DAWN or DUSK in the cursor infobox, note also that given the scale of the sim you might have some units in DAY and others in DUSK etc.

Related question - has the day-only limitation been implemented in CMO? I know it never was in CMANO.

It affects quick turnaround sorties and did/does in CMANO too, doesn't affect weapons employment... yet [:)]

Is there a way to find out when Dawn, Dusk, Day or Night occurs at any particular region in the world?

The reason for this is I have some assets that can operate only during the day. To set up a time activated mission, I kinda need to know when instead of looking at the data box at my cursor =x
