Rico - Stalingrad scenario

I can't get this to load, it displays a message saying that:

Sorry, GERMAN Side may only have maximum of 2 Radios, one radio per one OBA.

And then exits the game.

The US have what the game states as a MMG, but the counter is a LMG.

Zovs, you can use the editor to open the scenario and remove the excess radios from that side's setup.

There are a couple of scenarios like that, usually from the more early development days

Okay, so I did that and saved it and it still gives the same error.

Maybe the scenario designer can fix it?

Not sure why it not working after I deleted the Radio/sw.

Okay in the scenario there are (or were) 3 radios but there is no OBA assigned for any of them. Let me try adding 2 OBA's and see what gives...

No I take that back there is a 150mm OBA assigned but only one one. Maybe you can only have 1 OBA per scenario?

Right, you can't have more radios than OBA's. Sounds like you found it

Okay the error I get is the editor says that the SW can't be removed independently, I don't want to delete the leader just one of the support weapons. It seems you can only have 2 OBA not 3, and that is the issue.

Ah man that is so frustrating. It still won't work, I deleted the leader and yet it still thinks there are 2 radios. I give up on this one, the scenario is busted.

Ok, that's odd. You should be able to remove the SW and leave the leader alone. Which scenario is this? I'll take a look at it

So, the two Rico Stalingrad scenarios I have are both ok for Radios v's OBA's. One is a CG, the other a regular scenario that doesn't have any OBA's/Radios. Ummm....can't find the attach function here [&:]

If you can figure out how to attach them here that would be great, if not you can send them to my email I can PM you if need be to give it to you.

You should be able to edit your post and add an attachment.

Yeh, there's a lot of ASL features which will probably never appear here. As to picking up SW's though:
- It's an automatic attempt in the Rally phase as long as there's a good order unit in the same hex as the SW
- During the Move phase, you can select the SW, the unit and click 'Possess' button. Costs you 1MF

NB: You can't pick up and use any enemy SW's however
