An old post by Helpless indicated a command line option of -bDump which would export the battle data.

I know how to add this to a shortcut, but Steam is weird - I have no idea where to add the -bDump.

Right click on the name of the game in Steam. Choose Properties.

It should start in the General Tab. In the middle is a button called Set Launch Options.

Click it. Type -bDump in the text box.
