Good morning everyone!
Last night I performed a clean install of AB (patched to v. 1.046), added the IJ and FB Nation Packs on a Sandisk Cruzer Blade USB Flash Drive (16GB), in order to play it on my office laptop.

Launched the autorun.exe one hour ago and got the "ERROR: Invalid serial number" message.
Ran it again as an admin and got the same error.
Ran the ArmoredBrigade.exe file (also, as an admin): no joy. [&:]
Could you guys give me a little heads-up, please? I'm attaching the dxdiag file for your ease of reference.

Did I understand correctly that you're running the game on a USB drive?

Is the serialreg.txt file in the game folder? If it is and the game still fails to start, then I think your system has not updated the Windows registry, or perhaps the system is not allowing the game to read the registry.

You did understand indeed correctly: the game runs from a USB drive and yes, the serialreg.txt is in the game folder and correctly displays the game serial numbers.
I'll have a chat with the IT Dept., but you are probably correct (again): most likely it's because I don't have full Admnin privileges.
