What factors determine U.S. entry?

Is there a specific list of factors that determine U.S. entry, other than Pearl Harbor? For example, in the Italy 1939 scenario, if Britain declares war on Italy, does that slow U.S. entry?

You can look at the events file in the Campaigns folder. Just need the back of an envelope and a pencil to do the sums !

Not seeing a Campaigns folder. Is that in the WarPlan Data directory?

The scenario notes do not indicate what the OP is asking.
The only way to fathom US entry modifiers is to trawl through the events file in the folder tyronec has indicated.
If anyone has the time a PDF compiling the important stuff in the events folder would be a handy play aid. But honestly that info should be in the scenario notes.

AIs intrigue me, so I've been trying to learn the scripts and how to get the AI to react in certain situations.
Going through the _events.txt file that effects both AI and player, the following events will impact the US entry.
1) Egypt controlled by Axis increases US entry by 10
2) Gibraltar controlled by Axis increase entry by 15
3) London taken by Axis increases entry by 25
4) West of South Hampton taken by Axis increases entry by 25
5) Liverpool taken by Axis increases entry by 25
6) The attack on Pearl will bring the US in on Dec. 7, 1941
7) 3/11/41 Lend Lease to UK entry shift is 5
8) 4/18/41 extend Pam-American Security Zone is shift 5
I've only gone through it once and quickly at that but these are the ones I found thus far. I'm checking the other .txt files to see if there is other things that can effect entry.

I don't put exacts because then players min-max it. Like taking 2 cities in England and leaving a third to prevent the US from coming in.

+1 agree
Question: Alvaro, what were your thoughts about Malta? I noticed that it wasn't a shift but Gibraltar was. Just wondering.

I looked at it from a neutral US perspective. Would taking Malta really threaten democracy? Would the people be phased by it? No.
But if they hear Nazis marching through the Middle East threatening the world's oil supply (false propaganda at the time but the common man doesn't know it) then that is important.
Or NAZIS TAKE GIBRALTAR AND THREATEN US COAST!!! which is also viable.
German's took the English Island off of France and.... nada.

Leaving this info out of the notes is not fair to less PC literate types when the tech savy can just read the events file.
