I have been having a problem with SOW: Gettysburg, where as soon as it pulls up the "Initializing" screen (i.e after I open the Game Menu and click "Play") it forcibly minimizes itself, and if I try to maximize it again, it does the same. This isn't the first problem I've had with it, as I did have a compatibility issue earlier, but running it in Compatibility Mode fixed the earlier issue and it worked fine for a while, until this started happening. I tried a bunch of different compatibility settings just to see if anything changed and nothing helped. I've done my best to clean my registry, since that is supposed to help with forced minimization issues, but that didn't work either.
Any other suggestions?
