Are there any good 'open source' or usable-by-permission code for implementing downed pilot events? I'm interested in putting this in my next scenario and will be doing some coding in it but don't want to implement pilot rescues if it means I'm inventing the wheel on my own and the soln is already out there. Thanks!

Apaches code from the reworked CMO scenarios. Can ask him if you can use it. Iron Hand & North Pacific Shootout both have it. if he says yest I'd modify the Iron Hands scripts if you only have a single playable side and North Pacific Shootout if you have two. There's some slight differences in how it handles two sides vs one.
