Is there a considerable gain if the Germans opt to not attack Belgium to delay the GB entrance other than the lower productivity of GB for a month or so? Or would you say this is the same type of no brainer decision like not honoring the Molotov-Ribbentrop pact in WW2 wie?
Same for the Ottoman entry; What does Britain really gain if they delay their entrance?

I've delayed the entrance of Britian in mutiple games. The Entente always declares war on Belgium which they conquer. Then later they go after the Netherlands which they don't conquer and you get the Dutch army which has an artillery and HQ unit in addition to infantry units. One thing I also do is on turn one I use German DDs to mine the two hex English Channel choke point and for some reason the AI never clears them. Thus the AI has to go the long way around the UK.

UK: If you careful, it can be 3-4 turns, while the UK cannot really do anything, very useful, since they also not sending money to the Russians, and the obvious goal of a no Belgium is to cripple Russia first. Also this means the French take the enterity of the losses during this period. Plus the AI will DOW Belgium, costing 2K NM for UK and France, giving units for Germany and even some money. If Germany don't want to save Belgium, they still also get a new Fortress to defend. And later this will usually go for DOW on Netherlands for even more morale loss and units and a fresh new Fortress.
Ottomans: It is a big swing, half a year or more, late '14 or mid '15 between the ship or no ship. This means quite a lot of mpp loss for the ottomans, and some extra time to do what you want as Entente.
