I have enjoyed Strategic Command greatly or both WW1&2. I think it would also be a suitable game system for some other conflicts, especially the American Civil War.

Has there been any consideration of making such a title?

I played a civil war mod for the old SC WW1 some time ago. It was pretty good for MP but i never tested SP.
