Why ground recon has been, and will be important

Two different articles, but both share a similar idea: regardless of development & advance from EW capability and drone/aerial recon operations, conventional ground recon troops has been important and will be important in the future as well.
Second link is more about importance of armored formations, but "principle 5" briefly discuss why cavalry and ground recons is still important and will be important. As a player of "Armored brigade", I like second article
