In the old Talon soft game BOB when you ran night bombing missions or raids - You would get an attacking message, in EDBTR I just get a message of(Example only) JG-IL2 over target but no mention of attacking just circles around target area.

Is this by Design or a Bug?

You should be getting more detailed messages. Sounds like they didn't spot anything to attack due to weather or RAF inactivity.
