Victory location values?

Getting a grasp on today's map editor/content creation drop. So far, so good other than down-sizing from 4k res to make the map editor more usable.

re: "Victory location value is the equivalent amount of deployment tiles it is worth to be holding this victory location at the end of the battle."

Can VLs have a value other than 50-100-200?

Are deployment tile equivalents independent of prior control?
ie. gaining 25 neutral deployment tiles is the same as gaining 25 enemy-controlled tiles?

The value field can be any numeric value. It could even be negative if (for some reason) you wanted to punish the player for holding victory locations.

Prior ground control does not matter for scoring the last battle. It's just a total of how many the player side controls.

Expected ground control (which triggers your CO saying 'you captured more ground than expected' etc.) IS based on previous ground control +/- the expected change based on your stance (attack/defend) and force ratio.

What do you mean downsizing from 4K?

At 4k resolution the map editor takes up ~15% of the screen area with no option to maximize. Downsized to 1920x1080 its usable. Be nice if it scaled to resolution.

And yes, that is a 1:100 WW2 topo of Falaise as my wallpaper :)

Hit ESC to bring up the options and change the resolution of the editor. It will size down to fit the screen. You can also change the resolution in the EditorOptions.txt file in Documents/My Games/CloseCombatTheBloodyFirst.
