1937 Revisionist War has been updated to version 5 in accordance with comments and recommendations received. Version 5 changes:

1. Revised armor unit TO&Es to deploy selected units as heavy armor brigades.
2. Added secondary depot icons to HQ units for supply distribution.
3. Added an additional reserve formation to capital city OOBs.
4. Added a carrier task force to capital city OOBs.
5. Reduced AA lethality.
6. Revised naval ship and aircraft pre-NATO icon set.
7. Adjusted replacement schedule to reflect OOB changes.
8. Added secondary icons to marine and special force units for amphibious capability.
9. Dalan HQ BB icon fixed.
10. New unit types; Marine defense brigades, heavy mortars, naval attack aircraft, heavy tank brigades, heavy AAA brigades.
11. Force ZOC Cost increased to 150%.
12. Naval aircraft range adjusted and torpedo capability added.

Please replace the download scenario file (it contains the word “Text” in the scenario name) with the attached file. The name of the download file was changed but was never loaded in the editor and saved with the proper scenario name.

No, I think the Leftist actually had a small starting advantage. At the start where one side starts on an island it begins the game with a small ocean transport capability. This allows it to quickly send small units out to capture resources and clear communication lines. Several turns into the game both sides get their full merchant marine activated and the equation changes.

In the AAR the big events leading to Leftist defeat were early loss of heavy capital ships and Kongwa turning to the Imperial side. This forced the Leftist to use a lot of troops for garrison duty and limited the ability to maneuver by sea. Difficult to overcome these handicaps.

Glad you enjoyed the AAR. Maybe I’ll do another next time I have a PBM game.
