When I first load a scenario I can see the map at a decent scale, but as soon as I touch the mouse wheel it zooms in and won't zoom back out. I have been playing with resolution settings trying to get it to work correctly to no avail so far.

Freedom205 - - Same thing happens to me / The wheel on the mouse zooms the map in or out / If the mouse wheel doesn’t let you zoom (back) out, use the minus “-“ key (to zoom out) or plus “+” key (to zoom in) . . . To move the map, use the arrow keys / Hope this helps, Don.

That's odd. It automatically zooms in and then doesn't zoom out? What happens when you try to zoom out with the mouse again? Does it flicker?

If you zoom out all the way with the "-" minus key, and then roll the mouse one forward, does it keep zooming all the way in?

My mistake / I only can zoom in with mouse roller / Cannot zoom out (with mouse roller) / Yes . . . Once I zoom out with the minus “-“ key, I can (using the mouse roller) again zoom in . . . But when I’m playing a scenario, I try and not touch the mouse roller / Apologies for the confusion . . . Don.

Cheers, Don, not sure what's wrong with that. Works fine with my mouse so I'm a bit stumped as I can't reproduce it.

Got a new MicroSoft mouse not long ago / Went in (just now) and pulled up “Into the Blue” / Hot Seat / Axis . . . Was able to scroll in (with my mouse roller), then when I tried to zoom out (with the mouse roller) it “flickered” . . . Go figure / Don.

If it flickers I guess it's still trying to zoom in, so it zooms out and then zooms in by itself.
Do you have a different mouse you could try?

Brian - - still have the old Microsoft mouse / It just zooms in / Does not zoom out / Doesn’t “flicker” (after I zoom in) . . . The new Microsoft mouse, only zooms in and “flickers” (once I’ve zoomed in) . . . Does not zoom out / Don.

Sorry for the late response. I did away with a wireless mouse and went to a traditional mouse, issue fixed! Game is much easier to play now.
