I wonder if there's a feature that let user filter scenarios that have Programed Opponent enabled?
Curious [&:]

Short answer is the programmed opponent is always enabled if one or both sides is chosen to be played by the PC.

What you may be looking for is a score card for the PO performance in scenarios, and that would be dependent on several design factors such as how the designer structured the formations and units of a given side, and the objective tracks assigned to those formations.

The manual states the PO may have less efficient movement of its units if road and/or rail networks have switchbacks. Another design aspect.

I think evaluating PO performance using software could be difficult. Best approach may be to ask if anyone has played a given scenario using the PO and what they thought of the PO's performance.

Cheers

I asked this question every time I browse the scenario list.
Many designer didn't put such info in the scenario introduction there.
Thus wondering if there could be a feature like this or not.
But it's minor issue [8|]

Is this list only for fan made scenarios? Or just the default scenarios that came with installation? Or all? I doubt that because I didn't see World at War with PO scenario... [&:]

Anyway, thanks guys for the replies~

I think Larry's list only includes fan made scenarios,
does not include scenarios that come loaded w/ the game.

You have to d/l and install those scenarios.

Yea, you are right.
I'll download and try them out.
Aiming for scenarios with land, air, and sea battles with PO [8|]
For those original scenarios, I'll have to test them one by one to see which one have PO...

I think I heard some higher up person once say that the scenarios that were shipped with TOAW IV all had a PO in them. I could be wrong. I know D21 has a Soviet PO because I'm playing that now.

Really? [&:] Hmmm...
Some scenario has explicit description about PO, while others don't. So I thought no PO was provided...
Again, maybe I need to try them out [8|]

I am hoping that my "Encyclopedia" project will help define PO-enabled scenarios,
in mean time, Larry's list is color-coded as to which player created scenarios have PO ...

Also, in mean time, here is the documentation from game about using PO (you can enable it to move formations etc. to your liking, with some effort)

I hope this helps! From the game documentation, a link to a copy of the Elmer Assist Primer (found under x386/Matrix/etc./Manuals)
