I recently bought TOAW IV. I want to convert some of these files to work with TOAW IV. I found TOAW3_LegacyPack_V01-42.zip . I loaded the unzipped files in Old Scenarios in My Games, The Operational Art of War, etc. I went into the TOAW IV editor and couldn't see them. I got an error saying that something was missing. I have the Matrix version of TOAW III. How can I convert and use these files in TOAW IV?

My memory is rusty, but as I recall,

load TOAWIII scenarios into TOAWIV editor, then save again.

Not sure if this is correct, Larry can tell you probably.

I have a butt load of III scenarios I downloaded onto a CDROM, I need to work on those for the Encyclopedia ...
this is something we need to know!

I have the latest patch, but I'm unable to load XML maps from TOAW III, because when I do the game crashes to desktop. Now I can load a scenario from TOAW III and go from there.
