I have recently uninstalled and reinstalled the game to get it into the default installation folders, hoping to be better abel to find things in the editor. When I open the editor, and find the 1939 World at War Naval War Mod.cgn file, I select it and get the following pop up box that prevents me from editing it. I've installed the base game, the 1.05 community pack update, the 1.06.00.01 update and the recently released hotfixes, all to the default directory. Can anyone point me in the right direction here?

I see the file in question in C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Community Pack\Campaigns\_1939 World at War Naval War Mod\Scripts\Events, but I can't figure out how to get the editor to see it.

Also, when I select the help file, I get this message:

Additionally, I found this item that I'd posted before and followed these instructions, but still get the original error message.

So I'm clearly pretty lost with this would love to get straightened out, thanks.

The naval mod campaign would have the following files and folders:

_1939 World at War Naval War Mod
1939 World at War Naval War Mod.cgn

You then need to copy them from this folder:
C:\Program Files (x86)\Matrix Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Community Pack\Campaigns

And then paste that copy to this folder:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Campaigns

Then once you launch the Editor, you'd have to navigate to the same USER folder and open that version of the campaign for editing and resaving, e.g. this folder:
C:\Users\<username>\Documents\My Games\Strategic Command WWII - World at War\Campaigns

In game, you would have 2 versions listed, it would be the second one that you would want to load and play as that would be the edited version.

No I use foxit. Can I manually locate the file and open it?

Yes, all the PDF files are in the Manuals folder within the installation folder for the game.
