Axis is able to resupply an encircled italian city by sea (?)

Operation diadem to the gothic line scenario:

Enemy AI axis units are encircled at Pescara town for 3-4 weeks, but their hex is still not isolated, why allied naval patrol missions automatic system can't stop this resupply by sea?

In the previous turn I attacked at full, red triangle ammunition icon of enemy units became red but now it's again green like they are getting fully supplied by sea (same thing happened in the further previous turn).

Pescara has finally fallen, but (not actually) encircled axis units were able to retreat (routed) towards the north... is this a bug? I play with latest beta 1.02.59

You've not isolated it in their supply phase.

Options are to get your naval interdiction across all possible sea hexes (in this case the 2 adjacent to the port)>2 more than their interdiction (the port itself may well generate 1 pt for them). You'll see the sea hexes come up as 'allied control' and Pescara as 'isolated'

the other solution (even better combine these) is to put a TF one hex offshore, that'll generate interdiction and then in your turn move it in an arc so it leaves a trail of interdiction across all the sea hexes.

otherwise, yes they will rout out.

edit: the auto air is best seen as a defensive mission, it scatters interdiction across your sealanes protecting your supply and transports. To impose interdiction on a narrow area you need set a naval AD.
