Suez canal

Hello,
In my game vs Tigercub I can´t move British units between the Red sea and the Mediterranean its november 39. It is as if the Suez canal is closed. Is this something new I have missed or some kind of bug? Tigercub set up the games but I am pretty sure it is the latest beta.
