No of course not. But 2x check your scenario to make sure you didnt activate them. Because I have never had this problem with the A.I.

Playing the Axis vs AI.

I did not activate the Finns (in fact I don't know how I would do that, I play without diplomacy). The event simply kicked off on 13 march 1941 that makes Finland join the Axis. From that moment on I could move into the Soviet occupied hexes. I could not attack the Soviet units, nor move passed the old USSR-Finnish border.

As you can see, the USSR controls many hexes of former Finnish territory. Finland joins the Axis (and triggers 2 messages in the report) on 13 march 1941 and can move into those USSR controlled hexes no problem.

Yes, this is my mod, but I changed nothing in the events for Finland. I am guessing vannila has the same issue.

That's a bug. Not a major one though. That will be fixed in the next patch

It messes with my mod. Infrastructure is better in Finland now (roads). The Finns now get a headstart and can reach the Murmansk railroad easily. So for me it's a real pain in the butt.

When will the next patch be? Do you mean an interim beta patch before the official release or must this one wait for after the official release?

Doesnt Finland join if Kaunaus is Axis?

That used to be the case, but now Finland joins in March 1941 by event.

It's on my fix list.

As far as I can tell, this is not yet fixed in U751. Still able to enter the occupied hexes once Finland joins the Axis while not at war.

Not true. I am in a game right now where Finland is Axis and can't go into the Russian occupied territories.

Or maybe I fixed it yesterday, forgot, and haven't uploaded it yet. That might be it. I want to take weekends off but I can't stop working on WarPlan. Damn you testers!!!

I will check again tomorrow, I have a savegame. Could it be the restriction only last for 1 turn (ie the turn Finland joins) only to be lifted the next?

Naw it's an absolute check. Either they can or can't.

You don't have MY latest beta I worked on this past weekend that 100% prevents Finland from entering.
