Bought this last week and playing around with it to learn the mechanics before trying some PBEM. Sure is different then SC WIE.
In Options I didn't see the option of slowing down the graphical representation of the movement of units on the map. My preference is slower.
I'm not sure about this but it appears to me that when you use multiple units to attack a defender, the attacker you highlight while holding the shift key is the one that takes the losses. Is this correct?
I would think that because land units cannot stack but can be attacked by as many enemy units that are adjacent this game system favours attack over defense.
Played a few turns of the 1939 Campaign I was surprised when Poland moved it's capital to Krakow.

The new official update on the 26th will have an update rules manual I made for 1.00.06.
The shift key selects ALL units that can attack the hex.
The control key allows to select specific units with a hover.
For all countries you need to take all their production and morale centers. I think poland has 4.

Look forward to the new update on the 26th. I know about the shift and ctrl keys. What I was referring to is the following.
Let's say you have three units that are adjacent to an enemy unit and they all have enough operation points to attack. Two are infantry and one armour. If I click on one of the infantry hold the shift key and right click on the enemy unit it appears to me that if my units suffer any losses they come off the infantry rather than the armour. Alternatively, if I had clicked on the armour and did the same thing, any losses would have come off the armour.

That is strange. After several attempts, this is not 100% reproducible it seems.

It doesn't work that way. Damage is spread evenly within the units at random. So if you have 3 units attacking it will randomly pick a unit to take damage. Then do so for the next damage, and so on.

Alvaro,
Is this true for conquering countries like France, Soviet Union, and Italy? For example I thought Italy and France would offer a surrender (Vichy for France) when morale dipped below a certain #.

Well that is the exception. I just answered it generally.
Each country's morale is directly linked to the production and morale centers on the map.
Some countries, as noted France and Italy, have lower morale based on certain circumstances and can be conquered easier without taking ALL the production and morale centers.
