Strange bug here or is it me not understanding the basics?

Finland has no more oil stockpile.

This is confirmed here and this has been the case for around 5 to 6 turns. The thing is I have yet to see the impact of the 2 points in Upkeep.

What should happen?

Anyhow this is not the real problem.

The real problem is that this fighter group can still do two missions on each turn (naval bombing, army bombing, airfield attack). I have been doing this for 5 to 6 turns.

There is absolutely no restriction despite the fact Oil Use is equal to 1.
It looks like Finland invented the electric plane in 1944.

Really, I do not understand the rule anymore. From where, the oil is coming?

I am still using 1.00.05 by the way.

Same thing with Hungary. No oil left.

I can move my fighter group without problem.

Then fight.

A negative oil stockpile is now displayed in the below window. I did not test with any other units like Boats / Subs / Armor / Mechanized corps. Hope this is not the same. Will try to see.

Also can you specify. Is it your active missions is it on the enemy turn and you fly?

Moving doesn't cost oil. The real cost of the airplane isn't the airplane it's the pilot. But it shouldn't fly missions.

This is not true in the game. Moving does cost oil and I think this is normal.

Example in the first turn of Europe 1939 scenario, I am moving this Tactical Air group to Frankfurt. Oil stockpile is 91 before moving.

After move is done, the Oil Stockpile is 90...

The plane of Finland is set to "Mission Only".
The plane of Hungary is set to "Full Support".

In both cases, these are the missions I am flying during my game turn.

I figured it out. I'm tired. Yes you do use oil to move. I am currently working on it.

Just to make sure I understand correctly.

When I see Oil Use equals 3 in the below screenshot. This is the oil used by the unit for each combat within a turn.

But, for movement, any unit will use 1 point of oil per turn regardless of the distance traveled.

Is this the behavior of the game?

I did more tests by emptying the oil stock from Italy. It's easy, deploy its entire fleet.

And, I have declared war against Yugoslavia. This Tactical Air group can do its two mission per turn despite an empty Oil Stockpile.

The good news is that Armor and Surface Fleets can't attack.

The message I have received for Submarines, during a port attack (no fleets found), makes me think it can continue to attack despite the empty Oil stockpile.

But, Armor, Surface Fleets, Plane groups, Submarines can continue to move freely on the map. They are supposed to consume 1 point of Oil but it is not taken into account. All movements are oil free despite there is no more oil.
