I'm working on some Quick Battle stuff, is it possible to swap the database from DB3000 to CWDB using a lua function?

Gots to get us some Korean War air battles!

Not really. There would be so many dependencies. I think that it would have to be basically a 'migrate scenario' call which would be safer to do by the actual editor command.
