I have to replay my entire turn?

Yes. But let me see if I can do something. This post gave me an idea.

Please. I don't want to be too critical but this is a serious issue.

Some sort of local save would be good.

I've had this once too (in a turn of v. little movement + without combat luckily - and not in my game vs sveint:). Another long-standing opponent told me he had the same problem but on the replay the combat results were the same. I don't doubt him for a moment: the combat results were not in his favour.

? the problem lies with Slitherene's servers. I have had this before in WiTE v. occasionally but the game almost always uploaded properly after trying again after a while

So far, I have it fail to upload only one time. For which, I replayed the turn.

Ability to replay by crashing the game or using a save is the great curse of PBEM games. It gives players who realize they should have done something else than what they did or just don't like the random results they got a way to turn back the clock.

So the fixes for one issue can be a curse for the other.

And that is my concern.

Cheating is an entirely separate issue. Imagine having to replay a huge turn later in the game because an upload failed! (in 2020)

I apologize for my lecturing but the game should:
1. Prepare a copy of the data to be uploaded
2. Upload and confirm everything ok, then delete the prepared data
3. In case of any error, alert user and when they log in to that game again, go back to step 2
