CV A/C Capacity

Post by Honus »

I think I read somewhere that the CV A/C Capacity limit could be exceeded by (I think 10%). Is that true? Are there any penalties for doing so? Do Reserve A/C count against the limit?
TIA

You can exceed by 10% without operational penalty, but your repairs capacity will not be able to keep up with the fatigue and damage most of the time. You can go another 5% with minor ops penalties but at 116% all ops cease.
Think about reserving extra space for aircraft from damaged carriers rather than loading it up to the max. Saving the skilled pilots is very important, moreso for Japan.

The most that I have been able to super size on the Akagi is 96 but most stop at 93. The Akagi normal load is 81. So that is 93/81 or 1.148 or 115%. If you do enough of those, you start running out of pilots in your pools so you then have to get those still in training. [:D]
