Strategic Bombing in rain?

What can I do against strategic bombing? My interceptors don't seem to do anything.
And targets are taking damage even in rain.

Buy Anti-air guns. Move them around from far away cities to near by.
Set interceptors on support mode (air craft) not mission (airfield).
When they are in support mode a blue triangle appears, but if they are too damaged or low on effectiveness it will be red and they wont support.
So then you have to rotate some in and hour putting them on mission mode to recover.
Once all that is done you can blast those bombers out of the sky and make it less effective to strat bomb Germany. But if you do nothing they will have a field day with your production. It's a balance of investment and counter investment against a profitable attrition rate for either side. The Allies can take a 3:2 loss ratio and be ok. But once it hits 2:1 in production then they have to spot because they would be spending too much on repairs and not have enough for landings.
It's all about the depth of the game. You want to invest just enough AA and air sups to thwart or cost the Allies drastically.
Now as the Allies you at least want 1-2 bombers to force the Axis to expend on AA and fighters.

Thank you.
But why can Allied bombers fly in rain and my interceptors not?

They can. They can't fly in heavy rain. You need to check if they have a red triangle in support mode. It means they are too beat up to fly.

I'll check the code regardless but they use the same function to check for weather

Don't check yet, I'll test and get back to you. It's a PBEM game. I'm sure it's just me not understanding everything.

My mistake, they do fly. I just need a lot more interceptors...

Oh, you have much much bigger problems than a few interceptors...
