"A" version won't play "B" version in multiplayer

I hosted a multiplayer game and it would not run. The message was something like this: I have version "A" And my opponent had version "B." We both have 1.1.1

So there is a letter after the numbers in the versions?[&:]

What should I do?

Does your opponent have the hotfix to v.1.1.1 installed and you dont?

I went back in and looked closer. I have build 90b. My opponent must have had build A. Seems strange that they would not have version 1.1.1 follwed by 1.1.2. Instead it's A and B.

A hotfix is a change made quickly and outside normal development and testing processes. In this case it was to fix a broken tutorial. Devs probably intend to get to the regular naming progression with the next patch.
