Operation Locusta (update)

Operazione Locusta is the code name given to the contribution of the Italian Air Force in the Gulf War.
Following the invasion and annexation of Kuwait by Iraq, on 25 September 1990 the Italian Government sent in the Persian Gulf eight Bombers multi Panavia Tornado IDS (plus two reserve) belonging to the 6th, 36 º and 50 º Stormo within of Operation Desert Shield, which were deployed at the Al-Dhafra air base in the vicinity of Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates...

Wow, a perfect intro for a detailed scenario or even an exciting book.
But it could be difficult to implement because of CMO's limited ground operation capabilities.
Anyway i wish best of luck.

Beyond the aforementioned item.. also can set biologic and civilians to blind awareness, far as I can tell at least atm there is no need for them to be keeping track of contacts.
Also, if the bases in Turkey and down south will never be attacked by Iraq (with scuds?) you can make those single unit bases and save a couple hundred in the unit count.

Similar to the F-35s, some of the tankers and AEW aircraft have database entries suggesting they began to be used after 2000 as well.
