The South Korean 10th/3rd Motorized Rifle Company (green circles) needs to reinforce LZ 27V (turquoise circle) ASAP. How to get there? In heavily jungled terrain, especially in night scenarios (of which this is one), it can be difficult seeing the roads and paths in all that foliage.

Game play tip: By toggling ON Display > Map Hints, we can see here the PaThs (PT) from here to there. The 10th/3rd eastern force (the M113 ACAVs, right green circle), should they take the PT (Path) to the north, or follow the lead of the infantry to the west (left green circle)? The Map Hints help us to find out.

Fortunately for the South Koreans, they have plenty of artillery fire support from LZ 27Y, Duc Co CIDG Camp, and FSB Joan (all far to the northeast).

The NVA fire from hex [12,49] (green circle). But due to the fire reveal modifier, the firing units don't reveal themselves. The South Koreans are unable to return fire back!

Late in the game, the Allied artillery is blocked from firing because the ammo is running low. See the Arty Ammo indicator (yellow rectangle) in the HexInfo Box. Initially at 95, now at 73, the Arty Ammo has been decreasing by 2 every turn.

At scenario's end, the butcher's bill. Note where the NVA destroyed all five of the defender's M48A3 Pattons.
