I am playing a game against the AI as the Allies on version 1.00.06. The game date is April 25, 1941. France is still holding on, but probably only for another turn or two. During this time Italy has never declared war I have just been fighting Germany. This doesn't seem normal unless I am missing something. Has anyone else experienced this?

**Update: 3 turns later Paris finally fell and France surrendered. Italy has now declared war on the U.K. The date is June 6, 1941. I find it odd that Italy waits until France surrenders to declare war.

I think that in this game Italy doesn't declare war until Paris has fallen.

Thank you for the reply. Seems you are right. I did get a message about Paris falling and that emboldened the Italians to join the Axis.

When you start a game, you get a screen telling you all the relevant info about what countries can do, and when in that scenario.
