Which version are you running? I have seen a message from Alvaro he has fixed something in one of the latest beta.

All my games are multiplayer. Once again this is against Sillyflower.
Steps to (hopefully) reproduce:
1. Send German aid to Finland
2. Lose some merchants to raiding
3. Cancel trade

Well, I have tried various combination with 1.00.07U82 and really I can't reproduce.
Does Sillyflower and you have this same version?
