Should there not be NM drops for invasions and bombings of homelands?

For example Japan invading the Aleutians, Australia, US Coast, etc...

Seems like there should be more incentives to do these things? The invaded countries just get extra units. Seems like it would make the war in the Pacific actually important. No one seems to care about that theater action wise and the game is still all about Europe and Russia.

Re. landings, it would have to be a huge NM penalty to make it worthwhile for, say, the Japanese to land on the US West Coast. And the designers should not incentivize Sealion any more than it is.

IMO, heavy or even moderate NM hits on Britain or the US in response to an Axis landing are not historically justifiable. Hard to see the US or British civilian public being any less resolute than the Germans or Japanese turned out to be in actual fact.

Except that the Italians folded quickly when their home centers started falling (and this is modeled in the game).

Yeah, I've mentioned this in my point system thread. The Australians and South Pacific ain't getting alot of love (action).
