display stockpile oil and manpower at all times

bravo for this game which is aspiration of all our wish for 20 years! [:)]
on the stack of projects to develop is it possible to display stockpile oil and manpower ?
(maybe near the flags)
so we can see if we need to slow down in our plans or if we can rush
(without having to go back to the production panel)
having them on the screen at all times would be interesting I think

I don't know the reasons for removing the permanent display of manpower and oil, but I am sure they are valid. However, if possible I would like the choice to have them anyway. I never use the minimap for instance, so I disable it. I would rather have a small window that displays vital stats instead at that place on the screen. Just give me the option to choose between minimap/vital stats/nothing and I would be a happy camper.
I feel having a constant eye on your oil and MP is very useful indeed.

Are you sure? Only the major would be displayed then?

It would raise awareness to the consequences of your actions. To immediately see the depletion of your oil for every move/attack would be a good thing. All in IMHO.

The decision to not put it up was an interface design decision. I also thought I wanted it but discovered it only distracted me and served no value compared to the space occupied on the screen.
Instead there is an icon that appears on the unit, yellow or red oil drop, telling you that you are low or out of oil. You can also look up in the unit panel and it shows you the oil reserves.
