AI glitch

I played two games in 1939 historical setting.

Both times I managed to delay France occupation and cancel Barbarossa, so USSR started the war in the full readiness.

In the 2nd game after the France collapsed, I manged to keep one UK unit in Cherbour for years. And it attracted a lot of Axis units even when Berlin was occupied by the USSR.

It seems this unit was an important factor delaying Barbarossa and it seems weird to me.

Which version are you playing? The A.I. has trouble with situations like that. I do have code to handle it though. I might have to change that area so 2 hexes can attack it.

The 1 hex attack is tough. I need to expand that to 2 hexes even though realistically it wasn't. The A.I. has issues with that area.

May be moral penalty for being alone on one hex without retreat can be better solution? So such unit can shutter with higher probability.

2 hexes attack can ruin all game engine I afraid.

You gave me an idea on how to handle it with the A.I.

I'll have to think about this more.
