Just got CMO last week, I LOVE the background music

in First contact 1986, one SS-N-9 missed my MTB by less than 10m, but it doesn't cause any damage to my MTB, is that normal?

I'm not sure if it detonates once it hits the water. I know you can "miss" ground targets with a 2000 lb bomb and get splash damage.
