Love the game, actually one of the best operational/strategy games which aiming for simplicity but still easy to play and with all that in mind enough realism.

But:

1. Why are corps assets not bought instead of "earned"? And not transferable? Unlogical and unrealistic to me, but I guess to big of a change to hope for.

2. Elite...why not have a limit for Elite? Hysterical amounts of Elite on the map atm.

3. Why is there no AA-corps detachments/assets? There is Elite, which if realistic would be limited to a certain Elite-manpower pool. At the same time no possibility to strengthen your corps vs air with a AA detachment.

I guess all these changes would be quite huge and there for is out of the picture. But it is so far the only things about this great game I do not understand the "logic" behind and can be sligtly annoyed about. Notice, slightly.

My penn'orth

1 Moving assets around could be a bit gamey eg removing ability when you unit is in trouble or when you suddenly need heavy arty on a different continent. Elite status is something that is not transferable. It is 'earned' in the sense that you give it only to your best units.

2 Why have a limit beyond the existing system? Hvy arty is useful in small numbers, because of the 'only 1 used per attack' rule. The'problem if there is one is that the other abilities simply are not worth having. Boost them and there should be an inncrease in diversity.

3 I can't see AA ability being worth it. You can buy static AA units, which can be moved, so these could be placed in key cities and resources hexes to help the defenders.

I have found the Winter Specialization to be helpful on the Eastern Front. I put it on all of the Siberian Units plus a few extra Tank Corps and I am counter attacking during snow and blizzards in the winter of '43. I have seen good results with these units grouped together when focusing them on one area of the front.
