Everyday I remember all of the involved countries valor and sacrifices.
Here's a panoramic view of my reading room in three posts.
Enjoy!

Nice, I guess it does make me curious about your story - Are all the medals & ribbons earned by you or a family member? If you don't want to talk about it that's ok too (obviously).
My late mother was a collector, I guess it's just in my genes.
I wanted to preserve the legacy of others and ensure it survived for future generations, because these families were unwilling or unable to do so anymore.
All the stories of valor and bravery of these country's soldiers inspired me when I was growing up, and they still do so.
It didn't matter what nationality they were, they performed mostly as citizen soldiers.
Preservation is needed so the truth, the good and the bad, can be passed down to later generations.
It's what you get to do when you're retired and single.[:D]

Thank you, it's good to hear from those who appreciate history.
My whole house is a small walk through museum.[:D]
It reminds me of the cost in life and sacrifice, and that keeps me going everyday.
All that we enjoy today had a price paid in the past.

nice post, thanks for sharing.
everything has a price, however, that price is not always money.
life without soldiers would be God without angels.
