Paratroopers help needed

Can someone explain me what I am doing wrong? This paratrooper corps shows
100% of
Effectiveness. I have
two Air transports. The weather is
clear everywhere.
Why I do not have the option to perform a paradrop on
Malta or on its beach?

Can you drop on an ocuupied hex? Beach isn't really a hex in that you can only enter it when doing an invasion. Your paras would drown.................

From what I understand, you need to land on the beach first (from landing ships), destroy the garrison and then airdrop on an empty hex...

guggy has correctly described what you have to do. I'm sure Alvaro or someone showed how to do it that way in an earlier thread

Malta is mine. But, I will finally cancelled this drop. No more needed. Next objective:
Crimea.

You can't drop para's on a beach. Only on land that is empty.
Malta you invade. yes yes I know why can't you paradrop on a land unit. Well I didn't think about it when I made 1 counter per hex.
WarPlan 2 will have this feature.
