Hi
I'ml playing as Japan around February 1942, the supply system is sending all my resources to Sapporo and letting me out of resources and then stopping the production in Tokyo and Osaka so far
I don't know what to do, as far as we don't have any hand on that
Any advise ? Anything wrong ?
Thanks for your kelp and let me know if you need additional information

Hi Jose

Couple things to start - Resources and Supplies do not get automatically transported between Hokkaido island and mainland Japan. As the Japanese player, it is up to you to ensure Resources, Oil, and Fuel are transported from their production centers back to the Home Islands. I suspect you understand this for places like Palembang, but didn't realize you had to take care of Hokkaido.

I suggest using Tracker in addition to the in-game menus and displays (not replacing; supplementing).

Additionally, questions like this should be posted in the War Room or general questions sections rather than After Action Reports [;)]

Best of luck

What you are seeing is a huge amount of resource production on Hokkaido. Look at the number of resource production points for each of the bases and multiply that by 20! per turn! And resources accumulate at the largest port, but will be distributed to bases that need them if there is no break in the overland path and it is near enough on road or rail.

Some ports that face each other with no hex in between can exchange supply, resources, fuel and oil across the hex side they share. Ominato does not share a sea hex side with Hakodate, so the goods do not flow across at all. You need to set up convoys to bring the resources to Honshu. Build the ports at Hakodate and Ominato as large as possible so the convoys can load/unload faster and make more trips per month. Use your short-ranged ships here. You need the long range ones to supply your far flung islands.

EDIT to ADD: Here is a set of links compiled by obvert that are very useful for new players. The info on movement of supply, resources, etc. is in the Logistics 101 link.
