Assigning support units.

One question, if anyone can answer it I'd appreciate it.

There is the possibility of assigning several support units of the same type in a single assignment.

Examples:

10 battalions of howitzers from an army HQ to a corps.

The same situation but from the same corps HQ and from its own assignment screen where you choose the type of support unit.

Thanks

Yes but not in one click.

If it helps there is a very good video guide on this in https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vqtWY3KyDtE by @Joelmar and this SU guide https://www.matrixgames.com/forums/tm.asp?m=4767963 by @xhoel

Important to note is there are two ways to assigns SUs - the push and pull method - and they are described in the guides above. I am guessing your questions alludes to that.

Tambien si necesitas ayuda en castellano lo entiendo tambien [:)][;)]

By later he neans later in 1941.

There are a two parts to support units movement and use.

Movement
There don't move on there own they have to be attached to a ground unit and you do this either manually or automatically. The execellent guides cover how but basically in involves locking or unlocking support units in an HQ.

Use
Other than for construction units and to some exent engineers units, support units are pretty useless in any HQ other than a front line HQ or Division in some instances. There are only used to support onmap units in battle that are both attached and within 5 hexes of the same HQ as themselves. E.g. In the Soviet case support units attached to a Front will never be used in a battle unless to support combat units directly attached to it.

The only reason for putting any support unit (NOT construction etc) in a non-front line HQ is for reserve purposes but then you should always move them manually otherwise the will get re-attached were you might not want them.

Thanks for the comment link, very good.

Do I understand that when the body HQs are dissolved in 41, the support units return to the immediately higher Army HQ? Or are they also dissolved with the HQ itself ?.
