Do Zones of Control have any affect on enemy supply lines on land or at sea? The section of the Manual on Zones of Control does not cover this point. From game testing a bit, Zones of Control do not seem to have any supply effects on land. To cut off supply to an enemy land unit, you seem to have to physically surround it or occupy its principal supply source. But clarification of this would be helpful. I am not sure what the effect of naval zones of control are on supply from ports to units at sea.

No, zones of control do not have any effect on supply line tracing, either on land or at sea.

Thanks Hubert. Since it is common in board wargames for zones of control have an impact on supply, I suggest you specify this in any future update to the Manual.

On land at least, the unit will flip any adjacent (ZoC) hexes; if there is a conflict, the tie goes to the defender iirc from many play sessions. So while technically a ZoC doesn't cut supply, if the hex flips it will be cut regardless.
