Hey all,

Was wondering if there was any easy way to import content from a War in Europe campaign? Ideally I'd like to import everything, but failing that can I at least bring in some stuff like the map and events? Or has too much changed in World at War?

Hi

Yes, you can use the export/import features within the Editor. Open up the campaign, go to File -> Export, save all the details, and then when you import into the other Editor it will only import data that can be imported.

Though be sure to check everything to, as it is possible not everything will be right, e.g. country settings.

Hey Bill, thanks for the reply! I've been puzzling with it and I finally figured out that I'm having issues because I'm trying to bring a pre 1.16 campaign into the new game. I see that a campaign converter existed, but the dropbox link to the 1.16 beta which included that is a dead link now. I don't suppose there's an alternate download anywhere? My googling hasn't turned up anything.

...and I found it in my Steam copy of the game, and it worked. So no worries.
