You know when you click on a capital and you hear their National Anthem or some Middle Eastern chant, that's badass, love it. When Subs dive, badass. Carrier's attack, Jets attack, troops land, love it. Get my drift. I dig that.

So, add another 1000+ quotes, music, smack & sounds:

1) Anytime HQ-Patton is clicked, I want to hear the theme to Patton movie or random Patton quotes.
2) Big Daddy Mac, I gotta hear "I shall Return", "I have returned"
3) FDR "Day that will live in Infamy"
4) German military marches, and all the German Bunta stuff
5) Classical music of each county, and their quotes, give them the same respect as the Yanks, in their accent & language. Wanna hear the funky English like "You bloody fool", "Tea Time, Mate".
6) Every HQ, Country, etc. should have their own sounds

Next, update all the unit(s) when they get action:

"Man you battle stations", "Air Raid", "Dive, dive, dive". Get some cool sh-t. Pimp this puppy.

When certain ground events that happen which are cool, through some color commentary in. When a unit is completely surrounded, some jungle sounds for Viet Frickin' Nam. Japs talking smack, and their crazy pumped up chants on the Flat Tops.

This request is gonzo, but it would actually be cool to have a bit more in the way of sound-effects and so-forth. At least in the UK, a lot of WW2 copyright is coming up to expiry/has already expired on the 70-years-post-mortem standard, and performance rights have already long since expired on the 50-years-post-broadcast standard (or 70-years-post-recording for sound recordings), so there may be some public domain stuff that could be used royalty-free.

I like the idea, but there is one problem.

The way the game works many of the sound effects always have to play out completely before the action they belong to commences. For example, if a sub dives you get the little text blurb that tells you that it dives, then you get the sound effect during which nothing at all happens and then the sub finally dives. Call me a millenial with a short attention span but that happens so often and with so many things that it's pretty annoying to me. Same goes for the sound effect of bombers diving and other stuff I can't think of right now.

This adds up to so much time during every single turn.

Of course, with any feature, there's a toggle to turn off/on. Glad to see some Millennials represent. I gotta have my sounds & music. I play primarily Elvis music, 60's, Handel, & mixture of other music while gaming. Addtionally, I have movies streaming 24/7 (not always with sound), such as Stalag 17, Band of Brothers, David & Bathsheba, Eagle Has Landed, Patton, The Rock, Once Upon Time in Hollywood, The Rock, Goldfinger, One Eyed Jacks, Goodfellas, Few Good Men, Cliffhanger, Aliens, Bridge Too Far. Also I use YouTube for all them German Bunta homemade movies, to get me in the mood to game. Just like a date, I gotta get primed myself & her primed for the date.

Now, back to Elvis. Listen to it all, '55-'56 young Elvis is raw, some of the movie songs, & the Vegas Elvis is mixture of Country, Rock, Gospel.

Let me sum it up: I need cool things around me to be happening in life. You feel me?
