Tired of the Cookie-Cutter strategies? Listening to these guys "sell this chit, do this Diplo, gotta get infantry level now, etc." We all know the Cookie-Cutter strategy: Sell all chits for Russia except Infantry/Tanks, buy the Engineer, defend Smolensk with forts. Brits attack Italy, block ports, and the USA buys long-range Bombers. Gee, fun, eh? Pacific theater means nothing. Additionally, these guys just playing Cookie-Cutter Axis & Allies board game. On the flip side, Germans spend nothing on Tech, except Infantry, Tanks, maybe little Air/Anti-Air, the buy all the Tank + Mech and goto Moscow. That's basically it, you have not choice, but to play that path.
Until now. Legend here. The King.

Wanna have some fun as the Japs? Do not take the small port City of Pakhoi. Use it as your personal training center for Ships. After 12-months of pinging, you'll have a nice juicy fleet to fight with. Should have
2-Battleships with 2-stars
1-Battleship with 1-star
1-Cruiser 2-stars
2-Destroyers 2-stars
Carriers can do their normal work & peck on inland Chinese or take freebees on Pakhoi. If properly done you'll have 3-star Carrier, and couple 2-star Carriers.
You'll have an absolute blast with them Elite-Ships. Put some Anti-Air on them Battleships, you'll be the king of the Sea, and not afraid of a good fight. Ram ports, Ram cities, name it.
Yes, you give up the Nanning railroad/city thing. Guess what, so what? Put this song on, and sail with it!
Like a ship without a compass on a cold lonely sea
No beacon light of love to guide me through
I lost the only treasure that means anything to me
What now, what next, where to?
I thought I had a love that would be mine eternally
I felt so sure you'd be forever true
Now everything I counted on has crumbled under you
What now, what next, where to?
You were part of every dream I dreamed, of everything I planned
How could I know our castles were built upon the sand
Won't heaven send an angel, please, to tell me what to do?
What now, what next, where to?
What now, what next, where to?
Until now. Legend here. The King.
