I'm using 1.071 (started with 1.06 then updated). I noticed my 3rd Panzer HQ General was Bock instead of the Mannstein who I had put there before starting Barbarossa. I am playing against the computer as Axis. I looked to see if he was killed but did not get a notice in previous turn combat, however, I looked at the list of available Generals and he was listed as killed. I've seen a notice of my Italian General being killed in another game and the HQ went to a generic general. Is this WAD or should I get notice of a dead general? Does the next available general auto-load into the HQ?

There are notices in the reports and an icon that pops up.
Generals are auto replaced with one not as good as the older one.
