Every talent I recruited are 50+ year old often in the 60 or 70 the description say young I agree with the III in potential at least but don't give me gramps or grandma that will retire... Set up at least 18+ to -30 years at least...
Even recruit senior isn't that old [;)]

It must have been some bad rolls of the dice, any age was possible, but I agree, going to adjust this for next patch.
