I hope I don't incur the displeasure of asking such a question in a forum, but is there a Discord for Shadow Empire?

Of course, a forum offers many advantages for large questions and the permanence of answers, but I find this exchange a bit cumbersome in terms of short questions and for sharing screenshots.

Especially for the familiarization with new game mechanics I personally find Discord better, because you get an answer quickly. If you can't find something in the Ui etc.

Discord and forums serve different and some overlapping purposes. Chat lets people get instant response and talk about things that maybe aren't worth wasting forum space on

Great! At least for the WitE crew, there are quite a few live action PBEM and even multiplayer team games that are discussed and presented there. If the community expands enough we could easily do the same thing for Shadow Empire.

There is a fairly big grognard games community at this discord and we have a lively shadow empire channel and some on going MP games.

The problem with Discord, great though it is, is that it becomes harder to find solutions to issues after they've been posted. You can get more immediate help though!
