Like the topic title says, when starting a game via the "dump me straight into the game" option, it is not possible to look at the planet generation details (under reports -> help).

Is this deliberate?

Yes it is. the idea for this option was to NOT see anything about the generation of the Planet, so its a mystery where you start play.

The quick start is almost as fast, but does give you full info.
